Real Madrid midfielder Oscar Rodriguez is a target for Rayo Vallecano.

Marca says Oscar could be playing in LaLiga next season, with Rayo Vallecano leading the race to sign the Real Madrid academy graduate on loan.

The 20-year-old midfielder is one of the brightest young talents Los Blancos have and he is keen to experience top-flight football.

Real Madrid would have liked him to spend one more year with Castilla, their B team, but the player is keen to push on given that Castilla are in the third division.

A number of clubs have expressed interest in him, such as Alaves, Leganes and even Manchester City, but Rayo Vallecano appear to be a good option and Real Madrid could end up loaning him out to their city neighbours, on a loan deal with no purchase option.
