Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is in Serbia to visit Marijana Kovacevic.

The Belgrade-based medic is commonly known as the “miracle doctor" and is an expert at shortening the recovery period in injuries for athletes.

Sportklub reports Modric flew to Belgrade on the weekend to see Kovacevic.

The veteran is in a race to be fit for Real's Copa del Rey final against Osasuna this weekend.

Modric is also a doubt for their Champions League semifinal against Manchester City.
