Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric hit out at coach Zinedine Zidane's critics after their 4-1 win at Valencia.

Zidane went into the game under huge pressure after their Copa del Rey defeat to Leganes.

"I can't believe that the boss is questioned after everything he's achieved, it's crazy," Modric explained in his post-match interview.

"We know that sometimes things go well in football and other times they go badly.

"Questioning the coach is something that I can't understand, of course we support him."
