Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard's season is over at Heerenveen.
On-loan with the Eredivisie outfit this term, Odegaard broke a metatarsal in victory at Heracles Almelo on Sunday.
The Norway international was forced off on the hour mark and it was confirmed this morning that he has a metatarsal injury.
In Madrid, they're reporting Odegaard's season is over, though Heerenveen coach Jurgen Streppel remains hopeful he can play again before the campaign ends.
Odegaard has played 24 games for Heerenveen this term, scoring twice.
