Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra has blanked talk of fresh interest from Manchester United.

United are lining up a £16 million offer for the former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder.

But Diarra is keen to avoid being dragged into a discussion based on speculation and insists he is happy to fight for his place at Real.

He said: "I have no comment to make. I am a Real player and all I want to do is to play week in, week out at this club."
