Real Madrid midfielder Kroos: Is LaLiga in decline?

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has passed on a question about a new striker signing to president Florentino Perez.

Kroos was asked about PSG star Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

He replied: “They are two very good players and they can help each team.

"It is normal with the quality they have. The problem is that tomorrow (against Atalanta) they will not help me. I am very focused on tomorrow's game and this is not my topic. It is a question for Florentino."

Asked about LaLiga teams' struggles in Europe, Kroos also said: "Definitely. Every year things can change and some years only the Spanish win. There are many years in which many Spaniards have won in the Champions and Europa League. It is normal because they are teams that have won a lot and have to change players.

"We cannot say that now the Spanish are now worse than the English, the Germans. I find it difficult to say this. Every year we all fight to win the titles and that's it. In general, there is a very good level in Spain and more this season because I see it on the field.

"It is very difficult to win and lose in the LaLiga. Today this almost never happens. Today it is more difficult to win a LaLiga match."
