Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos admits he was unhappy with coach Carlo Ancelotti last week.
For their successful Champions League clash with Chelsea, Kroos was substituted in the 73rd minute and did not seem to appreciate Ancelotti's decision.
Kroos has since said on the Einfach mal Luppen podcast, "I don't see it as a negative emotion, I didn't like it, that's for sure, but in general it shows rather that I still really want to be on the pitch, to help and to win at the end.
"It was brushed off with a smile, and it was said no more. There are plenty of coaches at this level who take things much more personally than Carlo.
"He definitely knows how to assess him with his experience and his calm, moreover we have an exceptional relationship anyway."
