Real Madrid midfielder Franchu is backing their move for River Plate youngster Exequiel Palacios.

Real are in advanced talks with River to sign Palacios - and fellow Argentine Franchu is aware of the midfielder.

"He is a great player, he is at a great level and will be able to adapt quickly," said Franchu.

"I don't know if he will finally come but I know that the good ones have to be in Madrid."

Of his own hopes, Franchu continued: "The Primera Division with Madrid is difficult but not impossible, I too part in two preseasons, I had my official debut last year in the Copa."
