Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde was delighted with victory over Huesca.

Valverde was on the scoresheet for the 4-1 rout.

He said, "I'm happy. The important thing is for us to win and today we've got a good win here at home. When you put the work in, sometimes the results don't go as you'd like them to, but we showed today that we're working well and are hungry for more. We've improved a lot, were focused and pressed them hard.

"Whenever you win you always start to feel more positive. We can enjoy this one today, but we're already thinking about our next game. When you play for this club, you've always got to win. Sometimes things don't work out as you'd like them to, but that's where the team's strength comes in to carry on training and improving. This win really helps us.

"The most important thing is winning, not scoring goals. I have to continue improving and showing that I'm capable of playing for Real Madrid, that I'm capable of achieving big things with this team and I'm grateful for all the opportunities I'm getting."
