Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has revealed crunch talks with Zinedine Zidane over his future.

Ceballos was critical of Zidane earlier this season, though has revealed clear the air talks with the coach upon his return.

"His arrival is very important to us because we know his quality as a coach," said Ceballos. "It is a positive note for Real Madrid.

"Zidane has always been very clear to me, he told me that he had followed my games this season and that he wanted me to maintain the same level, that I had to continue like that for the remaining 10 league games this season.

"He told me that I would have the same chances as my teammates. It reassures me."
