Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro admits they weren't good enough for their 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo.
The result leaves Real a staggering 16 points behind leaders Barcelona.
Casemiro said: "A complicated game, with a lot of intensity, the two teams playing well but they are two points less, it's a lot but now we're further away and it's much more complicated.
"It's difficult, we made a great first half but in the second one we did not get out of our field.
"Madrid never lowers its arms, if there is a team that can come back, it's Madrid. We can and we believe in ourselves.
"We need to play better, it's not a question of the goalkeeper, the whole team is not doing well, we all win and we all lose."
