Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro hopes victory over Viktoria Plzen lifts their confidence.

Real eased some pressure on coach Julen Lopetegui after a 2-1 Champions League win over Viktoria Plzen.

Casemiro stated: "Without doubt, I think the result is to gain confidence, we know that we are not in a good moment but we have added 3 points and we have to think about Barcelona.

"We have to be honest, we are not playing well, we have a bad run, but Madrid is this, we have total confidence in the players, in the coach and in the technical committee.
