Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro: We must face Chelsea with humility

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has called for humility ahead of facing Chelsea in the Champions League semifinals.

Last night's 0-0 draw at Liverpool saw Real reach the final four 3-1 on aggregate.

Casemiro told TNT Sports: "In the Champions semifinals there are no favourites. We are not thinking about Chelsea, but about the next game in the LaLiga. We are going to fight until the end to win everything we can win.

"The work continues and we are already thinking about the Liga, we also want to win it. We have to be humble, we have taken an important step, but we have not won anything. We know that Chelsea has all the merit, a great coach, and they have our respect."

On teammate Vinicius Junior, he added: "Vini is humble, he knows he must continue working. But he cannot lose his essence, his joy with the ball, his one on one. We cannot pressure him so much.

"We have a great player with many years ahead of him at Real Madrid. Vini is 20 years old and football often forgets that. Today you play among so many good players with so many names and you forget that Vini is 20 years old, Rodrygo 19, Militão 22-23. Vini has been showing that he can play in this team."
