Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro says they paid for a poor first-half in their 3-0 thrashing at Sevilla.

Casemiro admits they weren't good enough in the opening 45 minutes.

"We gave them the first half, we know it's a very difficult opponent and if you give away 45 minutes, what happened is 3-0," said Casemiro.

"The talk at the break was very simple, we gave away 45 minutes, we cannot do this."

Barcelona also lost on the night, but the midfielder added: "We think of ourselves, of course it helps that Barcelona does not win, but we watch ourselves match by match."
