Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has urged fans not to expect too much too soon from Vinicius Junior.

The teen again shone yesterday for the derby win at Atletico Madrid.

And Casemiro said, "He's doing very well, he's in the best club in the world and he's in good shape. But you have to be patient with him, do not judge him as if he were 30 years old.

"He is only 18 but he can surprise people, whereas three months ago he was in team B and people did not believe in him. He is important for us.

"We cannot compare him to Neymar, Ney is among the best players in the world. Vinicius has qualities, he can do it, but we have to be quiet and not put pressure on him."
