Real Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz was delighted to score in defeat at Real Sociedad.

Brahim gave the visitors the lead before Real Sociedad overpowered the visitors.

He said, "It was a beautiful goal, but it was not worth it because the result wasn't good.

"We put in a very good performance, especially at the beginning, but playing with one less at a place like this and with a team that is playing to get in to the Europa League positions was difficult.

"We didn't throw in the towel and kept going until the end."
