Real Madrid management have no plans of selling Gareth Bale - despite his Wales flag controversy.

Bale choosing to pose in front of a flag that says 'Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order,' did not go down well with Real Madrid's directors, nor the club's supporters, but it has not changed what they think of the 30-year-old.

"He is the best player we have, and he will still give a lot to our club," on Madrid source told Marca.

The club maintain that Bale has an important role to play for them in the remainder of the season, with Real Madrid ruling out a January exit.

"We're not going to give him away or anything like that," an authoritative source inside the club said.

"He will be decisive again."
