Real Madrid management are fast losing confidence in goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The Belgian's poor form and fitness issues have dominated discussion inside the club during international week, says El Confidencial.

Indeed, many directors have admitted regret over the sale of Keylor Navas to PSG in August, conceding they should've kept hold of the Costa Rica captain.

There's now a major debate at Real about whether Courtois is up to being the club's long-term No1.

Just last week, former Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic said: "I think the feeling in the Bernabéu is that they think that Courtois is perhaps not a player that right now could match all the great goalkeepers who have recently defended the goal of Real Madrid."
