Real Madrid are making a deadline day move for Sporting CP star Bruno Fernandes.
In Portugal, it's been suggested the two clubs have had a fee worth €70m settled for the midfielder for some weeks. But everything hinged on Real failing to land their priority targets.
And it's now emerging that Fernandes will be signed by Real before tonight's deadline falls.
Just Saturday, Real coach Zinedine Zidane stated: "The end of the transfer window? As I said, until Monday midnight, anything can happen, a bomb, two bombs ... We'll see. The important thing is the match tomorrow."
