Europe's biggest clubs on red alert after Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz declared he's considering his options.

With the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester City all looking on, Havertz has declared he's ready for the 'next step' - including a move abroad.

He told BILD: "I am ready to take a big step and I like challenges. For me, this also includes abroad.

"I am happy to leave forecasts of the transfer market to others."

On Bayer, Havertz added: “Leverkusen is a great club, I feel good. I always said that. But of course I want to take my next step in my career at some point. That is my claim."
