Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has been impressed by their summer market work.

Los Blancos have secured deals for former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger and French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco.

"I think they are very good reinforcements. [Antonio] Rudiger seems very important to me in terms of maintaining a solid back line so that the team can consolidate," said Casillas.

"Everything is still too recent, with the two titles won, to think about next season."

However, the press wanted to know Casillas' opinion on whether his former team needs to strengthen in other areas, such as Karim Benzema's position.

"The squad was well formed last season. It's not a question of demanding much more. You have to value what has been done this past season," he said.
