Real Madrid are ready to bid big to bring Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz back to Spain.

Cadena SER says Real have launched negotiations to sign Ruiz, having failed with an offer over the summer.

Insiders say Real are "moderately confident" of convincing Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis to sell, with an offer of €100m being prepared.

Working in Real's favour is Ruiz's reluctance to consider discussing new terms with De Laurentiis.

The Spain international's contract with Napoli runs to 2023.
