Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has played down the controversy surrounding him after victory over Valencia.
Casilla came out in defence of the club after claims he wasn't allowed to speak to the press in Catalan, following the team's victory against Valencia on Sunday.
"I want to clarify that Real Madrid have never forbidden me from speaking Catalan," stated Casilla, amidst suggestions from TV3 that they couldn't speak to the player in Catalan.
"In the mixed press area first you have to speak in Spanish, then if other members of the press want to interview you in Catalan that has to be done separately."
