Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has spoken of the differences between coaches Zinedine Zidane and Diego Simeone.

Courtois worked with Simeone at Atletico Madrid before joining Real via Chelsea.

He told El Larguero: "They are two very different coaches. With Cholo it was to leave the ball to the rival, look for aerial balls, defend a little more ... With Zidane it is another football with more possession and more touch. In the end, I have been able to learn from many coaches.

"I've had both of them but also Conte, Mourinho and that's something I've tried to learn from."

Courtois also said of his critics: "In the end they affect some things because we are human, we have blood and we feel. But hey, when bad times come you have to rely on your close people, on the coach, on the goalkeeping coach and be strong."
