Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stands by his decision to leave Chelsea.

The Belgium international left Chelsea in August after forcing through a move after the World Cup.

He told ABC: "I do not know any footballer who does not want to sign for Real Madrid.

"I was very happy at Chelsea, I was part of the club and I lived very well in the locker room. There was no problem.

"But Real Madrid knocked on my door and it is sure that when the Real calls, the call is more important than anything else."
