Real Madrid have joined Manchester United in targeting Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell as their next major transfer. The People claims that Los Blancos have been monitoring the 18-year old, who can also play in central defence, and are planning a summer swoop for the England under-21 international.

It is believed that if the Spanish side were to make an offer in excess of £15m then Toffees boss David Moyes would be forced into negotiations.
