Real Madrid have joined Fantastec SWAP, the blockchain-based digital collectibles platform, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

Users will now be able to securely collect and trade official Real-authenticated collectibles, such as player autographs and exclusive video content.

Premier League club Arsenal and German outfit Borussia Dortmund signed deals with Fantastec earlier this year and now with Real on board Fantastec is targeting further growth of its SWAP platform.

Product development partner at Fantastec, Simon Woolard, said: "At Fantastec we are all very ambitious and have a clear vision of how we imagine sport and fan communities will evolve over the coming years. Each of our products helps us learn more and more about fan behaviour and wants."
