Real Madrid have no plans to include Gareth Bale in their squad next season.
The 31-year-old Welshman caused a storm earlier this week when he announced his plan to return to Spain once his loan deal with Tottenham comes to an end in June, stating he had only planned to stay a year in north London.
His agent Jonathan Barnett later claimed his client's comments were "taken completely out of context" and added it was "too early" to draw conclusions about where the Wales forward would be plying his trade in 2021-22.
And MARCA says LaLiga champions Real have already decided that Bale's time at the club is over and are keen to remove his £31million-a-year salary from their books in order to bring in new additions to the squad this summer.
Madrid have been linked with moves for strikers Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe, while they have also reportedly been in contact with Bayern Munich star David Alaba over a free transfer.
