Real Madrid hero Christian Karembeu says Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba deserves Galacticos status.

Real pushed to sign Pogba over the summer and remain keen.

And Karembeu told AS: "Pogba is a giant. Before there was talk of Galacticos, he is a giant.

"What other Galacticos are there now like him? But it depends on Florentino (Perez), he always wants the best. It also depends on the needs of the club, the market and what (Zinedine) Zidane asks.

"If we talk about pure talent everyone can arrive. Madrid has already made many efforts to bring (Eden) Hazard, but it is not known what can happen in December or next summer."
