Real Madrid great Fernando Hierro says Martin Odegaard is on track to fulfilling his potential.

The Madrid midfielder has been outstanding on-loan with Real Sociedad this season.

“I think Madrid made a fantastic signing when he was 16 years old," said Hierro.

"He was young, but he had talent and needed time.

"He has led his career in a brilliant way, he is a great guy."
