Isco insists he has no complaints after starting on the bench for Real Madrid's draw at Athletic Bilbao.
The substitute scored with his head to equalise just moments after replacing Luka Modric, but spoke after the game to explain that he understands Julen Lopetegui's decision to leave him out.
"It's not only me in the team, there are teammates who might be better than me and that's why the coach chose this team," the playmaker said.
"All that about Lopetegui choosing Isco and ten others was what you [journalists] said.
"It's a long season and we need to be prepared, as the coach says it's important to be ready and all available to achieve our aims."
