Real Madrid goalkeeper Courtois: Osasuna deserve credit

Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says they gave everything in their 0-0 draw with Osasuna.

Courtois says Osasuna "deserve credit" for their performance.

He said, “We gave it everything we had to get the three points but we were up against a very defensive team and it was difficult to find any space. If you don't get the first goal which makes things easier, the minutes tick by and it becomes more difficult.

"We're upset not to have picked up three points at home, that's three matches without a win for us here. We have another tough fixture coming up on Saturday away from home and we have to take all three points".

“From an attacking point of view, we have to try and create space, play quickly, get the ball into the box and have guys in there to get shots off. They did very well and deserve credit.

"We'll watch the game back in training tomorrow to try and improve in upcoming matches. From a defensive perspective, we have to be careful in behind us. They had a chance following a corner but we did well and were organised."
