Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is backing their move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe.

The young forward is a top target for Real president Florentino Perez, who is prepared to push to sign him right to deadline day this summer.

Courtois said: "Will he come to the Bernabéu? I only know what I see in the press, but it is clear that players like him will always be very welcome at Real Madrid."

Of his coach Zinedine Zidane, he said: "He is a great coach, he has shown it in the three years he has won everything, I am very excited to be there, with him, we will do everything to win many trophies next year.

"In Madrid everyone is used to playing until May to decide everything and it's a shame we did not to do it (last season), this year we have to go for everything."
