Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has given up his long held No13 shirt.
The Belgium international has decided to take the No1 shirt for the new season - the first time he has worn the number in his senior club career.
At Chelsea and with Atletico Madrid, Courtois also wore the No13, while at Genk he carried No28 on his back.
The No1 was free last season after Keylor Navas left late in the summer for PSG.
With Courtois giving up the No13, that number is expected to be taken by Ukrainian keeper Andriy Lunin.
