Real Madrid have dropped all interest in Tottenham star Christian Eriksen.

The Dane is a favourite of Real president Florentino Perez and his No2 Jose Angel Sanchez, who they see as an alternative to Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

However, AS says during talks between the two clubs over Real youngster Dani Ceballos, Eriksen's name was never raised.

Real coach Zinedine Zidane has made it clear to Florentino, he only wants Pogba and won't consider alternatives.

The president has offered Eriksen and Ajax youngster Donny van de Beek, but Zidane insists they must focus on Pogba.

Meanwhile, Spurs are pushing to ferry Ceballos to London this summer.
