Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane dismissed the VAR controversy around the club after victory over Alaves last night.

The Frenchman was happy with his side's display and mentioned that the discussion about VAR in recent weeks is of no matter to him.

"We are focused on our goal and we have three finals left," he said after the game.

"It was important to win, of course, but it is very important to keep a clean sheet, that gives us a lot of confidence.

"We will continue with the positive morale that we have."

Speaking about VAR, Varane wasn't keen to feed any controversy.

"Outside noise doesn't matter to us.," he said.

"We control our attitude that we show on the pitch."
