Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola says everyone now has a clean slate under new coach Zinedine Zidane.

The fullback impressed in the win over Celta Vigo.

He said, “New coach and a new page. Zidane is part of the history of football and of madridismo.

"He was my idol when I was a kid. You can always notice the coach's guidance. He got his ideas across and we saw that out on the pitch. We're starting a new cycle and we head away very happy with today's performance. Everyone looks very focused.

"A coach has come in who has brought increased desire and when that happens you're keen to impress him."
