Real Madrid defender Nacho says the players were pleased after their 1-0 win against Getafe.
Marco Asensio struck the only goal of the game on the day.
Nacho later said: “It was important to win. Getafe made it tough for us, they sat deep and tried to counter-attack. The first half was more difficult for us and we were good in the second half. Asensio's goal turned the game in our favour.
“We didn't suffer too much and we lacked the movement in the first half, but we corrected that and that's when we created more chances. We wanted to get the three points to go into Wednesday's game feeling confident. Winning's always positive. Today's game has nothing to do with Wednesday's because the City clash is a final.
“We've had some very positive results against world-class opposition in a lot of competitions. That gives us the confidence to approach a demanding game on Wednesday."
