Real Madrid defender Nacho says the players are playing for coach Santiago Solari after winning at Real Valladolid.

Nacho spoke after the 4-1 win over Real Valladolid.

He said the win did not heal the club's wounds: “We are not used to being at this stage of the season with nothing to fight for. We're facing a very complicated situation. It's hard for everyone. This win doesn't mitigate for the week we had. The club obliges you to win and we want to do everything for the badge every day. It's hard because we're Madrid and we like to go on holiday having won a title."

On Solari, he added: “The relationship with the coach is a bit tough because things aren't going well. We're with him tot he death and we don't get involved in those things (if he will be sacked)."
