Real Madrid defender Nacho has called on Isco to fight for his place.

Isco was given a rare start for last night's Copa del Rey defeat at Leganes. Real reached the next round 3-1 on aggregate.

Nacho said: "His peformance was normal, he had several games that he was not a starter, we were all in the same line and if we had not qualified it would be a catastrophe.

"Isco is important for the team, he is one of the most important players on the team and he has to keep working, the coach is with him and when he is on the field he has to smash the table."
