Real Madrid defender Nacho admits he wants football to return.

Spain has been on a strict coronavirus lockdown and, like in most nations, this has severely disrupted the sporting calendar.

"It's important that we can play again," said Nacho in an Instagram live video alongside his brother Alex, who plays for Cadiz in Spain's second tier.

"Football is important in this country, people also need to think about something else and it's a way to entertain them.

"There are a lot of people who have gone back to work.

"And at the end of the day, football is our job.

"We will play again unless something strange happens."
