Real Madrid defender Nacho admits they need Sergio Ramos back.

Ramos' contractual situation still hasn't been officially resolved, yet Nacho enthused about the positive role the captain plays in the dressing room.

"I've always felt very important in this squad, even if I didn't play much," Nacho said.

"I don't play as much as Ramos, but I've always considered myself an important figure.

"Now, without Sergio, I'm playing in my best position, where I'm most comfortable and I will carry on fighting to play as many minutes as possible."
