Nacho is delighted with his new deal at Real Madrid.

The defender has penned a new contract to 2023.

Nacho said, “Real Madrid is my home. The club has helped me develop and it has taught me all kinds of positive values to confront life and everything that comes your way. I can't imagine a life without Real Madrid because I've been here for almost half my life. Every year at this club, which is my home, is something positive, and this makes me feel happy. I'm very proud to be able to play for Real Madrid for more years".

“I remember I was really nervous when I first joined the club and every day I enter the training complex and I train with my teammates and keep winning games and trophies I feel great pride and the desire to win more in the future. The shirt you wear on your debut is a very special thing and right now my parents have my one.

"I framed it and dedicated it to them because they worked hard their whole lives to help me get to where I am. But every detail and every item that I have in my house is really important to me because it means that something good has happened at this club. For sure, when I grow up my children will be able to appreciate it and who knows if my grandchildren will be able to enjoy it as well."
