Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez says teammates aren't putting any extra pressure on Gareth Bale.

Bale scored in Sunday's win over Getafe as he seeks to fill the void left by the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo.

But Nacho insists: "It is not a theme for Gareth to follow in the footsteps of Ronaldo.

"Cristiano has made his mark on an entire era. Bale is a real key player for us and has won many titles. He has no one to prove anything to.

"Everyone knows that we can count on him and I am convinced that he will continue to perform well. The fans are completely behind Bale and he is very happy at Real. We have some fantastic attackers walking around."
