Dani Carvajal is delighted with his progress this season at Real Madrid.
The defender impressed in victory over Villarreal.
"The coach is the one who manages that. He doses our efforts so that we're both rested and give our all in every match," said Carvajal.
"I wasn't expecting to come back so soon. I worked really hard the year I was away to come back and now the coach is giving me a lot of confidence and I try to return it with hard work and good playing."
