Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho is happy to be seeing midweek action.

Carvalho featured in victory over Champions League opponents Ajax.

"I'm fine. I'm training everyday after the physical problems I had last year. I'm in good physical condition to help and I have to make the most of opportunities, seeing as when we don't play we train even more than the others.

"Right now I'm playing more and better. All of us footballers want to play, but I've been off the field and I've had physical problems. I have to respect the decisions taken because those that are playing are doing a great job," said Carvalho.
