Real Madrid defender Alvaro Odriozola admits his first season has been a "rollercoaster".

Odriozola arrived from Real Sociedad last summer and has played 19 games in his debut campaign.

"It has been a rollercoaster for me. The important thing is to undertake self-criticism and get an apprenticeship," Odriozola said.

"You learn a lot at this club.

"One season in Madrid is like three seasons anywhere else, there is so much happening."
