Real Madrid may recall Lucas Silva from his loan at Cruzeiro.

The midfielder's deal with the Brazilians expires next week and they're eager to extend the arrangement.

However, AS says Celta Vigo are now in contact with Real about taking on Lucas - an option the European champions favour.

For now, Cruzeiro pay 50 per cent of Lucas' €1.5m salary which is a situation Real are no longer happy with.

Cruzeiro aren't giving up on keeping the midfielder, though realise they need to make a sacrifice to convince Real to extend the deal.
