Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is ready to take a close look at Brahim Diaz.

The former Manchester City prospect arrived at Real in January, but has struggled for minutes - despite quitting the Premier League giants over playing concerns.

AS says Zidane plans to use the remaining ten games of the season to consider Diaz's value.

He will hand Diaz minutes to see if he is ready to be part of Real's first team next season, or whether he should be sent away on-loan.

Under former coach Santiago Solari, the youngster only saw 24 minutes of action.
