Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane urged perspective after their Champions League elimination at Manchester City.
Zidane wasn't left too disheartened by Real Madrid's elimination from the Champions League on Friday.
Los Blancos fell 2-1 against Manchester City, seeing them crash out of Europe with a 4-2 aggregate loss.
"When you lose you can't be happy," Zidane said afterwards, "but we have to be proud of what we've done.
"We have to congratulate our opponents because they played well.
"We don't have to look for excuses, we lost both games, but the most important thing is that I'm proud of this team.
"We've done all we can on the pitch, but sometimes it doesn't work out.
"City deserved it."
